TeamViewer GmbH has released a new beta of its collaboration software for Macintosh computers, with a focus on two-factor authentication.
A new feature introduced in TeamViewer 9, two-factor authentication, protects your TeamViewer account against unauthorized access.
The feature apparently needs more testing in TeamViewer 9.0.23358 Beta, alongside other new components, such as wake-on-LAN, compatibility with Windows 8.1 and OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), and others.
The new TeamViewer 9 also allows users to save customized customer modules in their TeamViewer Management Console, perform file transfers without establishing a connection, get notifications about new service cases, assigned service cases, new contact requests, and more.
TeamViewer 9 is yet to be released as a final product. To ensure bug-free productivity, use TeamViewer 8. You can download TeamViewer 9.0.23358 Beta or TeamViewer 8 for free right now from Softpedia. The software is free for personal use, but requires a license in work environments.
