14 DAY TRIAL // SlingPlayer, the solution that allows you to enjoy your live or recorded TV on your iPad over a 3G, 4G, or Wi-Fi connection, has received a number of enhancements and bug fixes.
Available as two separate apps for iPhone and iPad, SlingPlayer lets you quickly find the channels you want with a built-in electronic program guide, as well as pause, fast-forward, rewind and schedule DVR recordings.
Version 2.3.1 is now live in the iTunes App Store with improved Auto / HD streaming for SB500 hardware, a new ability to share screenshots of streaming video and have it shared on Facebook, as well as an option to set a data cap over 3G/4G/LTE to minimize your bill.
Some bug fixes are also included, though Sling Media doesn’t elaborate on the matter.
