The Flash-capable Skyfire Web Browser from Skyfire Labs now features a Flash Video button at the top of the UI for analyzing the page for Flash video.

In version 5.0.0, Skyfire Web Browser offers an all-new search experience with a unified field for searching as well as for URLs.

To whoosh away the top and bottom controls, simply scroll down any web page. To slide them back into place, scroll back to the top.

The toolbar can now be turned off in the settings pane, and there’s a new Touch Effect that helps you see where you tapped – “helps you target tiny links and buttons,” says the developer.

The Related Video button is now separate from the Video Alert/"analyzing page" button, and the toolbar and top chrome have been updated with new graphics. Newcomers have an Updated Tutorial and FAQ pages.

As usual, the 5.0.0 release also includes bug fixes and performance improvements.
