After updating its iOS SkyDrive client with new features this week, Microsoft has released a new version of the desktop client for Macs, adding a range of bug fixes and tweaks.

A cloud computing service similar to Dropbox and Apple’s own iCloud, Microsoft SkyDrive offers 7GB of free storage, with options to purchase plans ranging from 20GB to as much as 200GB.

Competing services like MEGA, which just launched its own iOS app today, offer as much as 1TB of storage, but security is also important, so you’re left deciding on your own which service can be trusted the most.

If you’re a Microsoft customer using SkyDrive on the Mac, version 17.0 build 2020.1120 is out today with “general bug fixes to sync issues and app crashes.” If that’s you, download SkyDrive for Mac and fix your bugs today.
