RunKeeper, the popular GPS running, walking and cycling app, has been promoted to version 3.2 in the iTunes App Store, featuring some visual enhancements.

RunKeeper 3.2 brings UI tweaks to let you visualize how frequently you work out over time to build healthy habits.

It makes it possible to “drill into detailed analytics around your lifetime mileage, pace and activity distance breakdown with new ‘Lifetime Insights’,” according to FitnessKeeper, Inc., the developers.

The Start screen has been updated to make it easier to log activities and share runs live with friends, and you can now swipe left to add a weight measurement or indoor/old activity thanks to the inclusion of a new “input” menu.

Finally, the update enables users to set up RunKeeper Live to broadcast their workout to social networks.

The developers ask users to note that this is the last version that supports iOS 4.3. The next update to RunKeeper will require iOS 5.0, which means you’ll most likely want to update to receive the next version.
