14 DAY TRIAL // Apple’s new Remote application for iPhone and iPad has been updated to support iTunes Match on Apple TV as well as to add compatibility with the 3.1 million pixels found on the third-generation iPad’s Retina display.
According to the release notes for Remote 2.3, the new app adds: • Support for iTunes Match on Apple TV • Support for Retina display on iPad
Remote lets you control iTunes and Apple TV using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch over your home’s Wi-Fi network. Its interface also lets you select and play your favorite content just as if you were in front of your computer or Apple set-top box. The app requires iOS 3.1.2 as the minimum software requirement to run.
