Quickoffice Pro HD, the productivity suite for iPad that costs as much as one iWork app from Apple, has been promoted to version 5.0.1 with several new abilities and enhancements, including iOS 6 compatibility.
Quickoffice, Inc. is proud to announce that its office app for iPad now lets you track changes (create, edit and view in .doc & .docx files), make comments, proof-check documents, and get word definitions by highlighting words.
The app has “iOS 6 certification” (because “supported” is just too mainstream), and no longer allows sharing through Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Yammer. No explanation whatsoever as to why.
The usual bug fixes and general enhancements have also been incorporated. Compatible solely with the iPad, Quickoffice Pro HD requires iOS 5.0 as a minimum spec.
Quickoffice Pro HD can create and edit all types of Microsoft Office documents, including spreadsheet, and presentation formats, as well as view PDFs.
