Apple today seeded a new Mountain Lion build to developers, bringing the version number to 12F30 in internal testing. OS X 10.8.5 remains bug-free as far as Apple is concerned.

Containing no known issues and weighing in at 290MB in barebones delta form, OS X 10.8.5 Build 12F30 requires further testing in areas like Wi-Fi, Graphics, Wake from Sleep, PDF viewing and Accessibility, as well as Mobile Device Management.

In other words, developers are asked to focus their testing efforts around the same components as in previous builds.

OS X 10.8.5 doesn’t have a release date set but it’s expected to drop around September, perhaps in tandem with OS X 10.9 Mavericks and iOS 7.

Developers can download OS X 10.8.5 Build 12F30 at the Mac Dev Center, or via Software Update through the Mac App Store (if they have an older beta installed).
