Apple is at its 13th beta of OS X Mountain Lion version 10.8.3. Developers were seeded build 12D76 last night, with no major changes and no known issues. The list focus areas remains unchanged as well.

Apple is taking its time with the public release of OS X 10.8.3, having seeded over a dozen betas to developers since November 2012.

Clearly marking a break from tradition, OS X 10.8.3 packs fixes for at least some known issues, including the widely reported FILE bug crashing Mountain Lion apps.

The company once again asks developers to focus on AirPlay, AirPort, Game Center, Graphics Drivers, and Safari, in OS X 10.8.3 build 12D76.

As usual, developers are required to have the OS X Software Update Seed Configuration Utility on their test machines, in order to download and install the new Mountain Lion beta. To grab the goods, Apple Developer program registrants must visit the company’s Mac Dev Center here.
