14 DAY TRIAL // Netflix, Inc. has announced a new version of the company’s iOS client application for iPhone and iPad customers with an enhanced player interface for a better playback experience.
Users who update to version 3.0 today will see a video’s title in the iPad player UI. Users can touch the player UI screen to see the title of movie/TV show they are watching at any given time.
The zoom icon is back, allowing users to control the movie during full screen mode, and the play/pause and Back-10 buttons have been relocated “so you can easily control your experience,” says the company.
Netflix is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. It requires iOS 5.0 or later and is optimized for iPhone 5.
