A new beta version of Mozilla’s Firefox web browser is available. The sixth such release in the development branch, Firefox 27 Beta 6 contains the usual code corrections as Mozilla prepares the software for its final (stable) release.

Firefox is just as popular on the Mac as it is on Windows and Linux, and development is unfolding smoothly on all three fronts.

With mere weeks ahead of the final release, Firefox 27 Beta 6 brings tweaks and fixes, as the betas before it did. The browser feels more polished with every release, but a lot of bugs are still lingering in the code. Mozilla plans to roll out Firefox 27 Stable in early February.

As usual, the newest Firefox downloads for Mac, Windows, and Linux can be found below. Users can grab the latest stable / beta / development builds immediately.
