After releasing a buggy update for Minecraft Pocket Edition players, Mojang has published a new version of the game in the iOS App Store fixing the widely reported glitches.

Version 0.6.1 contains the same updates delivered in the 0.6.0 release, which include signs, armors, baby animals, fancy clouds, an improved D-pad, new tiles, falling sand and gravel, colorful sheep, and a stonecutter bench to craft more stone and sand items.

As far as bug fixes are concerned, the development team has patched some errors affecting multiplayer chests and Sign input, an issue where newly-put-on armor items would overwrite the old ones (if they weren't removed first), a problem with half slabs getting stuck in “upper” position, and disconnecting issues.

Most importantly, the update patches a fatal bug which caused Minecraft to fail to save a world after the player had used up resources to progress through the game.
