Minecraft fans, rejoice! Mojang is out with a new version of its popular building game for iOS platforms, which adds baby animals, signs, armor, new blocks, and lots more stuff.

Version 0.6.0 delivers all of the above, plus Fancy Clouds, sand and gravel with gravity, and improved D-pad. According to Mojang, there are a few known bugs that continue to linger in Minecraft – Pocket Edition 0.6.0.

It is unclear why the company decided to put off their patching, but the changelog makes it clear that there are three distinct issues that Mojang is working to fix: falling sand can disappear; when returning from Home-screen, sign model disappear; screenshots in store are old (the company plans to put up new ones).

Minecraft – Pocket Edition requires iOS 4.3 and works with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad.
