Microsoft has released its timely patch for Office for Mac users employing the 2011 edition of the productivity suite, adding a number of fixes to address some security vulnerabilities.
Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac 14.3.8 is a maintenance update which “fixes critical issues and also helps to improve security.”
The update patches a number of vulnerabilities “that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer's memory with malicious code.”
Scary, right? Well, it’s probably not as serious as it sounds, but it’s best to keep your software up to date at all times.
