One of the fastest web browsers on iOS platforms, Mercury Browser, has been promoted to version 7.4.1 adding a search-in-page function and several other goodies, including bug fixes.

Developer iLegendsoft released Mercury Browser 7.4.1 for iOS platforms this week to add a couple of things that can be considered must-have features for any web browser.

Users will be glad to find the new “Search in Page” option under Gesture & Toolbar. The “Common Bookmarklets” have been moved into the Plugin section, and the Ad-Block algorithm has been improved.

A Firefox sync bug has been fixed, alongside an issue with clearing tabs after restarting the app frequently. Several other minor bugs have also been addressed.

Mercury Browser is a free download for all iOS 5 devices and it’s a universal app, meaning you download the same binary for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
