Ian Page has released a new version of his popular MacTracker application, the powerful reference guide to all the products made by Apple. This new version contains both updates and fixes.

MacTracker 7.1.1 updates the iPod shuffle (4th generation) lineup with the new colors introduced by Apple last year. The update further adds pixel density information to Cinema and Thunderbolt display models, and then includes fixes.

One issue that caused MacTracker to crash on launch for some users has been addressed. Another, which involved exporting entries in “My Models,” has been fixed as well. Alongside these fixes, “other minor changes and additions” are also included.

MacTracker requires an Intel-based Mac and is a free download for all users. There are separate downloads for different OS X versions dating as far back as the early 2000s.
