Users who upgrade will get a “Favorites” feature for emoticons, which allows them to group frequently used emoticons in the appropriate tab. They can "favorite" an emoticon by tapping the star button in the top left corner of the emoticon preview box after selecting an emoticon.
A “Settings” menu has been added in the emoticon tab, and the order of emoticons can be changed straight away.
Some chatroom UI modifications are included, and the update also adds a “Send Optimized Image” feature.
Developers testing KakaoTalk on iOS 7.0 reported some issues which appear to be fixed in this release. These include a problem where the app would crash when the app is locked with passcode, and other bugs.
