Mac applications developer Duncan Midwinter has released Image Vectorizer in the Mac App Store, providing OS X Mavericks users with an easy-to-use image converter that spits out a variety of vectorized formats, including EPS, SVG, and DXF.

With the five-dollar (€4.49) Image Vectorizer, Mavericks users simply drag an image into the app and click to have it converted into a vector graphic, for example EPS, PDF, SVG, or DXF.

Bitmap Effects include flip, rotate, brightness, saturation, gamma, invert, sharpness, blur, median, outline, halftone, while Vectorization Settings include corner threshold, curve optimization, suppress speckles, color controls, and output size.

“Image Vectorizer doesn’t limit you to straight conversions, it also lets you filter the bitmap image to create a variety of interesting effects and it lets you control the vectorisation process too,” according to Duncan Midwinter.

You need OS X 10.9 aka Mavericks to download Image Vectorizer and use it on your Mac.
