Lemke Software has released the latest version of its powerful image editing and converting utility for Macintosh computers, adding a bevy of new features alongside improvements to existing functions and numerous bug fixes for reported issues.

GraphicConverter 9.2 Build 1620 adds the following new features, according to Lemke Software (highlights): image verifier, batch scale, RegExLite support to batch rename, match with RegEx to slideshow with find as option, copy JPEG comment to IPTC caption to convert and modify, option to display color usage, clip colors to 5 bit per channel function, sharpen/burn/dodge brush, display of golden ratio, and an exporting feature for Apple TV.

Other additions include batch support for non premultiplied to premultiplied alpha conversion, dramatic speed optimizations for PDF multipage editing, and enhanced rename options.

The update fixes crashes occurring during creation of kml files, slideshow issues, crashes during threshold command with images wider than 32,000 pixels, wrong error messages during some AppleScript commands, and many others.

A great deal of other changes is listed in the changelog, so I encourage avid users to pay the release notes a visit. Download GraphicConverter 9.2 Build 1620 on any Intel-based Mac with OS X 10.6.8 installed. A demo version is available, which disables the batch processing function.
