Update fixes “the top two user issues with the latest stable build,” according to Google
Google has superseded the Chrome Stable channel to patch two issues with the browser. The 30.0.1599.69 update is geared towards Windows, Mac, and Chrome Frame.Karen Grunberg of the Chrome development team writes on the Chrome Releases blog, “The Stable Channel has been updated to 30.0.1599.69 for Windows, Mac and Chrome Frame.”
Grunberg reveals that this relatively minor update addresses “the top two user issues with the latest stable build.” One of those issues involves tabs freezing up. If you’re experiencing this, updating is imperative.
Another addressed issue is lag in some games. This has to do with some GPU problems with certain monitors, according to Google’s release notes. As always, you can grab the latest Stable, Beta, and Dev releases of Chrome at the links below.
