The Google Chrome Dev channel has been updated to version 28.0.1464.0 for all supported platforms, including Mac OS X. This is a bug fix release for avid testers of the browser on OS X computers.

According to the release notes, “this build addresses some known regressions and stability issues.” As usual, Mac testers can review the full details about the rest of the changes in this build by visiting the SVN revision log.

Testers who find a new issue on OS X are encouraged to give the development team a heads up by filing a bug report.

Don’t forget about this week’s Beta Channel Promotion, which celebrates the Chrome 27’s upgrade to the beta channel.

Chrome 27.0.1453.15 contains a number of new improvements, including faster page loads, elegant HTML5 date and time <input> forms, live audio input to Web Audio API, the ability to sync FileSystem API for Chrome Apps, DevTools updates, and a lot of cool stuff for developers.
