Carvware’s GamePad Companion app for OS X gamers has received a fresh update which aims to fix a few nasty bugs involving Minecraft, Borderlands 2, and more.

According to its creators, GamePad Companion 3.3 provides general bug fixes for the upcoming OS X Mavericks, a new major version of Apple’s desktop operating system.

No specifics are given, but you can expect GamePad Companion to work well after you make the jump to Mavericks, so long as you install this update.

The new release also fixes a mouse cursor bug affecting Borderlands 2, “both the App Store and Steam versions,” according to Carvware. Finally, a bug affecting controls in Minecraft is fixed as well.

GamePad Companion requires OS X 10.7 Lion to run and sells for $7.99 / €6.99.
