Although Mozilla is yet to ceremoniously unveil the latest (stable) version of Firefox 19, we’ve got our hands on the DMG file for Mac users, and you can grab it yourself right now at the link below.

As usual, Mozilla is pushing for more stability and speed with Firefox 19. The ever-present CSS / Java / Flash enhancements are there to make your browsing experience more fluid, but there’s another new addition that deserves mentioning.

Firefox 19 brings with it a built-in PDF viewer, which enables users to open such files in their browser’s window, rather than having to download the file to their desktop and open it using specialized software (Preview, in the case of Mac users).

The newer versions of Firefox require Snow Leopard. If you’re packing OS X 10.6 or a newer version of the Mac OS, you’re good to go. As usual, Softpedia has you covered not only with the newest Firefox release, but also the latest alpha / nightly builds.

Happy browsing!
