FileMaker Inc. has released updated versions of its FileMaker Pro 12 and FileMaker Pro 12 Advanced software. Version 12.0v4 is a free download for all existing users.

The new software increments FileMaker Pro 12 and FileMaker Pro 12 Advanced bringing them both to version 12.0v4, FileMaker said.

The first notable changes are in the layout design and rendering departments, where FileMaker has addressed an issue involving portal line borders rendering thicker than necessary.

For the “Save as PDF” function, the company’s engineers have been able to fix an issue where FileMaker Pro would crash during PDF creation on Windows XP. An issue that slowed down printing is also patched.

FileMaker lists specific configurations for customers who are advised to download and install these updates (at this link here). If you know which updater is the right one for you, proceed to the download links below.
