Facebook has released its new Messenger app for iOS devices with voice messages and the ability to swipe right to archive a conversation again.
After listening to the feedback provided by customers worldwide, Facebook has re-enabled a feature in its Messenger app that allows users to swipe with their finger on the iPhone’s screen to archive a conversation again.
Version 2.1.1 also includes “other improvements and bug fixes” that will ensure a smooth chatting experience for both iPhone and iPad users.
For those who haven’t updated their Facebook Messenger app in a while, there’s also the new ability to send voice messages. Users can now call all their friends for free right from Messenger. Free calling uses the iPhone’s / iPad’s existing data plan.
Facebook Messenger remains compatible with all iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad models that support iOS 4.3 or later.
