Image Line is following in on Apple’s footsteps adding Audiobus support to its music-making software for iPhone and iPad users, FL Studio Mobile. The 2.1 update also delivers full support for the iPhone 5, a new (purchasable) Synth Lead pack, and more.

FL Studio Mobile is the iOS implementation of the popular FL Studio sequencer for desktop computers, formerly known as Fruity Loops. The software allows you to create and save complete multi-track music projects on your iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, and even exports on-the-go creations to the desktop app.

In version 2.1, Image Line has added Audiobus support, enabling aspiring musicians (and professionals alike) to send and receive live audio directly to/from other Audiobus-compatible apps.

The iPhone 5 is fully supported now, and there’s a new Synth Lead pack in the app’s built-in shop. Users also get 24 audio inputs (via a class-compliant audio interface), improved VirtualMIDI compatibility, and loads of bug fixes and improvements.
