Feral Interactive Ltd. has announced that the FIA Formula One World Championship is back on the Mac with the release of F1 2012 in Apple’s Mac App Store.

Previously available only through third-party distribution venues, F1 2012 is now officially available to Mac users worldwide through Apple’s curated distribution venue, the Mac App Store.

According to Feral, the leading publisher of games on the Mac, F1 2012 sports all of the teams, drivers and circuits from this most hotly contested F1 season. The title has been developed by Codemasters.

Minimum system requirements include a 2.0GHz CPU, 4 gigs of RAM, a 512MB graphics card and 12GB of hard disk space. As usual, some graphics solutions are not supported, including the ATI X1xxx series, ATI HD2xxx series, NVIDIA 9400, NVIDIA 7xxx series, NVIDIA 8xxx series, NVIDIA 320M, Intel HD3000 and the Intel GMA series.
