MoboTap Inc. today released a patch for the iPhone implementation of Dolphin Browser, addressing an annoying bug which prevented the Evernote clipper from working properly.

Already fixed on the iPad, the “Evernote clipper posting failed issue” is now addressed in Dolphin Browser 7.1 for iOS devices with small screens, including the iPhone, and the iPod touch.

Although compatible with tablets, this version of the browser is not iPad-native. It is, however, optimized for 4-inch screens, such as those of the iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod touch.

For those who aren’t very familiar with the application, Dolphin is one of the best free Internet browsers, featuring tabbed browsing, a cloud-based platform called Dolphin Connect where you get to sync your stuff across devices (including the desktop), Wi-Fi broadcast, gesture customization, speed dial, and more.
