CodeWeavers today offers CrossOver 13.1.2 Build 27699 for download on Mac OS X and Linux computers, delivering improvements to Quicken 2014 and other notable tweaks and fixes.

A cross-platform solution to run Windows programs on a Mac or Linux computer, CrossOver supports numerous apps out-of-the-box and can theoretically run any Windows program, even those that don’t have built-in support from CodeWeavers.

Version 13.1.2 is out today with enhanced application support for Quicken 2014. The personal finance software now runs better on dual-monitor setups, according to the release notes. CodeWeavers says, “Quicken can only display on the primary monitor, but should be more usable.”

Using the Tab key should now properly switch focus from one field to the next, various rendering bugs are fixed, and Adobe Reader XI now installs and runs as it should.

Finally, customers who wish to install apps directly from the Amazon Downloader service can now do so. This change was implemented specifically for Quicken 2014, “one program which is often purchased as an Amazon download,” according to CodeWeavers.

The system requirements have remained unchanged, and newcomers can always download and install a 14-day trial version to test out CrossOver for free.
