Maintain has released Cocktail 6.4.1, an update to its general purpose utility for Macintosh computers, which deals a blow to several bugs, and updates network optimization presets and compatibility (among other additions).

Cocktail 6.4.1 addresses “minor compatibility issues” with OS X Mountain Lion version 10.8.4 and Safari version 6.0.5, according to Maintain.

The release updates network optimization presets and makes improvements on the clear DNS cache procedure.

An issue where Cocktail may fail to restart Core Audio daemon is fixed and Automator actions have been updated as well. Same goes for the Help files.

Cocktail is free to use for 14 days, after which you’ll be nagged to purchase a license key. The software runs on Intel Macs only with OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or later installed.
