The massively exciting Borderlands 2 is now available for the Mac selling for $60 / €47 on Steam but only for $44.99 / €35 on Aspyr’s GameAgent platform.

Blending first-person-shooter gameplay with role-playing elements, Borderlands 2 lets you team up with up to three other players to engage in multiplayer co-op, “sharing mayhem as you spend hours leveling up your character and equipping them with one of the millions of badass weapons.”

Mac gamers need OS X 10.7.5 (Lion) or 10.8.2 (Mountain Lion), an Intel Core 2 Duo processor running at 2.2 GHz, 4 GB of memory, 13 GB of hard disk space and one of the following video cards: NVIDIA GeForce 8800, ATI Radeon HD 2600, or Intel HD 3000 (with 256 MB of video memory).

The game should be available on the Mac App Store momentarily. In the meantime, check out Borderlands 2 on GameAgent (screenshots, gameplay footage, a digital download and other stuff).
