14 DAY TRIAL // A new version of the insanely addictive Bejeweled Blitz is out for iOS platforms today, with developer PopCap throwing in a new rare gem which you’ll be able to obtain for a very limited time.
According to PopCap, players who download Bejeweled Blitz 1.4.0 will get the new Ice Burrrst Rare Gem and the Progressive Spin, which enables players to get a free Blazing Steed Rare Gem by using Daily Spin five times a week.
The game now supports 720p resolutions and includes some nifty performance improvements. Players are encouraged to “get all Rare Gem gifts and shares straight from the Jewel Box,” according to the release notes.
Bejeweled Blitz is compatible with iOS 5.0 and up, meaning that pretty much every iDevice is supported.
