14 DAY TRIAL // PopCap is out with a new version of its immensely popular match-three puzzler, Bejeweled. The iOS installment is getting a few minor tweaks in version 1.5, so don’t expect too much from it.
PopCap begins with a short message for the fans, stating, “Thanks as always for your fantastic support and feedback. We certainly appreciate it. In this latest update, we’ve made a few changes to get you playing faster – and keep you having fun longer,” says PopCap.
The company then proceeds to outline the changes in Bejeweled 1.5, which include a reorganized Main Menu that includes a single screen. This, according to the developers, will “get you back to matching gems more quickly.”
The Badge Menu layout has been simplified, and a few bugs have been squashed “to help everything run smoothly,” according to the release notes.
The game remains compatible with iOS 4.3 and all the iDevices that support the firmware.
