14 DAY TRIAL // Security vendor Avira has released a Mobile Security app for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, a free tool which scans for malicious processes that may be corrupting your iOS device.
Avira Mobile Security is said to be the only security app to integrate a free 5GB cloud storage account to allow users to free up space for more pictures or videos, as well as to access their cloud-stored files wherever they are.
The free app can detect any malicious or rogue processes running on your iDevice, see if your iOS version is current, and even check if anyone has tried to jailbreak the device, according to its makers.
You can conveniently back up or share photos and videos stored on your free 5GB cloud storage account, and you can make your device ‘scream’ if it gets lost, or track it on a map (just like with Apple’s Find My iPhone).
Avira Mobile Security is localized in English and German and requires iOS 6 or iOS 7.
