A volume slider is now available in the app’s interface

Audible has released a new version of its Audiobooks application for iOS adding a volume slider, a new Whispersync experience, bug fixes, and more.

Audiobooks from Audible version 2.0.2 includes UI changes, including a handy volume slider and an “enhanced experience for Whispersync for Voice.” The developers fail to offer any specifics.

Bug fixes and usability improvements are also included in this release, such as fixes to the sleep timer, some fixed playback issues for iTunes books, and bookmark syncing improvements.

The app is compatible with all iDevice models that support iOS 5.0 or later, including Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad.

Audiobooks from Audible requires iOS 4.3 or later and is fully compatible with 4-inch screens (iPhone 5, iPod touch fifth-generation), and displays natively on all iPad models, including the most recent version (the iPad mini).
