Apple has pushed out an update to patch a few bugs in the Find My iPhone application for iDevices. The software has been promoted to version 2.0.2 on the iTunes App Store.

Although the app’s name indicates that you can use it to find your Apple smartphone, Find My iPhone works just as well with other types of gear, including iPads, iPod touch players, and even MacBook computers.

According to the release notes included by Apple with the latest version of the app, Find My iPhone 2.0.2 delivers “bug fixes and stability improvements.” The Cupertino company is not specific about the addressed flaws.

Located in the iTunes App Store’s Utilities section, Find My iPhone is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. It requires iOS 5.0 or later and is optimized for iPhone 5.
