14 DAY TRIAL // If you’re looking to increase your productivity with extra screen real estate, or if you just want to mirror your Mac / Windows computer display to your iOS device, there’s a new tool for that and it’s called Air Display 2.
Released by Avatron Software in the Mac App Store with a $4.99/€4.49 price tag, Air Display 2 is an improved version of the original utility which connects up to 4 iPads simultaneously. Multi-client support is currently Mac-only, but Windows customers are also getting this in a future update, says Avatron.
The tool also works with Bluetooth keyboards. The solution requires you to install an app on your iDevice and an app on your Mac or Windows PC. Also, all devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network for Air Display to work.
“With Air Display, you can wirelessly extend your computer desktop to gain more space or you can mirror your computer's screen to your iOS device and control your computer with intuitive iOS touch gestures and/or Air Display's elegant built in keyboard,” says Avatron.
