14 DAY TRIAL // Adobe has released an update to its PDF-viewing software, Reader, on iOS platforms. The new version lets you create PDFs from your iDevice, but it’s not cheap.
Adobe Reader version 11.0.0 adds the ability to buy the Adobe CreatePDF service using an in-app purchase of $89.99 / €69.99 / £59.99. You can convert an image to PDF using CreatePDF, and create PDF files from a variety of file formats.
Also an in-app purchase, the new Reader allows you to buy Adobe ExportPDF for $19.99 / €16.99 / £13.99. You can use it to export PDF files to various formats (Word, Excel, etc..).
The update further includes bug fixes and security updates and is available completely free of charge to everyone. Requirements include iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), iPad, and iOS 5.0 or later.
