Adobe’s free app for drawing freeform vector illustrations has received an update this week, adding the ability to choose stroke smoothing, and support for pressure-sensitive styluses.

Adobe Ideas version 2.7 looks like a relatively minor update when you first glance at the changelog, but avid users of the drawing app will undoubtedly see more value in the three lines of text jotted down by the company.

One new change is the ability to choose your stroke smoothing option in the Preferences pane, while another is added support for the Pogo Connect pressure sensitive stylus. Finally, the new version integrates with other imaging apps, including Adobe’s own Photoshop Touch, for sharing artwork.

Adobe Ideas works with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 5.1 or later.
