Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game Dota 2 has received a maintenance update with fixes for some of the most widely reported bugs.

In this new release, Valve has removed Roshan's 50% Base Magic Resistance, and illusions can no longer be created in this phase. Also, Roshan can no longer be Rooted, according to the changelog posted on November 25 to the Steam-powered site.

A bunch of platform-specific fixes are mentioned, including some tweaks for Mac and Linux gamers. On the Mac, Valve has fixed a crash that occurred when Command-tabbing. Also on OS X, the Ctrl-click now works as a right click (just like Apple intended it to). Finally, Dota 2 for Mac and Linux has been upgraded to SDL 2.0.1.

Mac system requirements include OS X Lion 10.7, Intel Dual Core CPU, 4GB RAM, nVidia 320M or higher, or Radeon 7000 or higher, or Intel HD 3000 or higher, and 8GB of hard disk space.
