“Tim Cook must immediately increase the size of the screen,” he says

American business magnate Donald Trump believes Apple is in deep trouble with its 4-inch iPhone. He says if Tim Cook doesn’t roll out a “phablet,” Apple is toast.

Having a lot of cash doesn’t necessarily make you a visionary, but Trump does own Apple stock, and he strongly believes those shares will gain a lot of value if a larger iPhone comes to the scene this year.

Trump said on Facebook, “I have a lot of Apple stock, and I miss Steve Jobs. Tim Cook must immediately increase the size of the screen on the iPhone. It should be slightly larger than the Samsung screen – and they better get it right fast because they will lose a lot of business. I like the larger screen.”

The key takeaway from Trump’s insta-analysis is that “he” likes larger screens. Of course Apple has to take several other factors into consideration before ceding to the demands of wealthy shareholders. And that usually plays out well for the shareholders too.

But, in all fairness, Apple can’t afford to keep the iPhone’s screen capped at 4 inches for much longer. Like Trump, we have faith Tim Cook and his savvy team at 1 Infinite Loop can pull it off.
