Apple is forced to update delivery quota on its online store yet again

After delaying the Mac Pro launch several times, Apple is being forced to push the shipping date yet again, this time until February 2014.

Assembled in the United States at an Austin, Texas factory, the all-new Mac Pro (Late 2013) model undergoes a complicated manufacturing process, which may be the main reason behind the delay, some believe.

Apple originally cited a December delivery for all orders placed on December 19, 2013 (yesterday), but less than 24 hours later, its quota now states February. Mind you, that’s a two-month delay, which suggests a lot of customers have been placing orders for the powerful workstations.

Apple’s Mac Pro accounts for a small portion of the entire Mac install base, but it seems that many companies and creatives (and people with a lot of money on their hands in general) have been waiting for the system to become available.
