Admittedly, Deemo is a difficult game to describe. You should play it to understand how it works. The best thing about it is that Deemo is free for the rest of the week, so you can try it right away.

When you first open it, the game starts with a slow piano song that tells the story of a man trapped in a castle. His name is Deemo and he is a mystic character that lives in solitude. When a little girl falls from the sky, he tries to help her.

Deemo soon realizes that, if he keeps playing his piano, a tree will grow. In the beginning, the player has to tap the bottom of the screen just like in games similar to Tap Tap Revolution. There is a total of 33 songs in different music genres and 99 variations, many of them coming from famous composers.

This game was only released two months ago, but the AppStore editors have agreed to make it free for anyone who wants to be amazed. Check out the video below for a short Deemo demo on Android and iPhone 5, and make sure to download it.

As a word of caution: the app is 385MB, so make sure to get it via WiFi, not over 3G, especially if you have a limited data plan.
