DIRECTV Inc. has rolled out an updated version of its entertainment application for tablet owners, DIRECTV App for iPad 2.4.5, which promises to deal a blow to all the annoying bugs.

DIRECTV App for iPad version 2.4.5 comes with several code corrections, including a fix for Guide problems. Apparently, the Guide would not populate when scrolling (for some users), and this update is said to resolve this flaw.

The update further addresses performance issues with startup and the Guide, playlist delete (users can tap and hold a poster to delete now), etc. The developers say that “additional bug fixes” have been added.

DIRECTV App for iPad 2.4.5 remains localized in English only and requires iOS 6.1 (or newer) to run on your Apple gizmo. The download is free, but you must have a Residential Home account or a Commercial account registered on DIRECTV’s website in order to use it.
