CrossOver Product Manager Josh DuBois has contacted us with news that CodeWeavers has just released an updated version of the Wine-based utility for running Windows software on a Mac or Linux PC.
CrossOver 11.3.0 includes few changes on OS X front (more has been done on the Linux front this time around), but it’s a noteworthy update nonetheless, especially for avid users who don’t speak English as their primary language.
That’s right, CodeWeavers has implemented support for half a dozen new languages in CrossOver. The program has been completely translated into Czech, Spanish, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, and Chinese.
The update also includes a fix for font rendering in CivIV, DuBois tells us.
CrossOver Mac 11 requires an Intel-based machine (PowerPC is a no-no), Mac OS X 10.5.0 or higher, and 200MB of available disk space.
