Maintain has released Cocktail 6.9 Mountain Lion edition, an updated version of the company’s general-purpose utility for OS X users. Developer Ian Page also rolled out an updated Mactracker app, adding the latest Apple gear to the product reference application.

Cocktail 6.9 targets Mountain Lion customers exclusively and features improved launch times, Retina support, and improvements on the "Clear kernel caches" procedure. To round up this maintenance release, the developer also updated the Uninstaller and Automator actions.

Mactracker 7.3.2 (3.1.2 for iOS) is an updated version of Ian Page’s reference utility which contains a treasure trove of information on Apple’s entire product lineup, from the company’s humble beginnings (with the Apple I, II, and Lisa computers) to the latest MacBooks, iPads, iPhones, and all the accessories the company has shipped throughout the years.

This new version adds MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2014) and MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014) to the family of products, as well as new details on latest iOS releases, and some “minor changes and additions,” according to the release notes. The desktop app adds something extra, a second Wi-Fi ID field to "My Models" for dual-band Wi‑Fi devices.
