Factyle has released an updated version of Cinemagram this weekend introducing the ability to combine “cines” to create mini clips. The 1.22 update also improved video quality.

Cinemagram lets you create hybrid photo-video content by animating small portions of your photo to create an image that's part-photo and part-video. You can also apply filters to your works.

Cinemagram 1.22 introduces “Shorts,” an all-new feature for fans of the photography application which lets them combine “cines” to create a mini-movie.

The new feature is even more welcome with the “improved video quality” promised by Factyle. Users also get Push Notifications with this release, enabling them to see when their friends have posted something new. The usual bag of fixes is also incorporated in Cinemagram 1.22.

Cinemagram is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. It requires iOS 5.0 or later and is optimized for iPhone 5.
