Developer tap tap tap has updated its awesome Camera+ photography app for iPhone and iPod touch aficionados, mending a few issues related to iOS version numbers.

The gist of it is that Camera+ is no longer acting up under iOS 5 (including the problematic 5.1.1 version), and even adds support for the upcoming iOS 7. The developers don’t say it directly, but we can all deduct what they’re implying.

According to the official release notes, “[Camera+ 3.9.2] Fixed a bunch of issues related to iOS versions from an era long past, like 5.1.1… and versions that don’t even exist yet. Welcome to the fuuuuuuuture!” says tap tap tap. Yeah, they’re excited like that.

And if you haven’t updated your Camera+ app in a while, there’s even more incentive to grab the new version because it also includes fixes for iCloud syncing and effects layering, among other cool stuff.
