Box for iPhone and iPad version 3.0.1 is out and available for download on iOS 6 platforms with new AirPrint capabilities, support for saving videos to the camera roll, and more.

Box 3.0.1 is the latest update to the cloud client from Box Inc. for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad customers. It offers new features, such as support for printing via Apple’s wireless printing standard “AirPrint,” support for saving videos from Box to your Photo Library/Camera Roll, and the ability to sends links via Gmail (if you have the Gmail app installed).

Link sharing controls have been improved, and the user now has the ability to rename files on Upload. If you receive a link from someone else’s Box, that shared link can now be opened directly in the Box App. Finally, the update patches some bugs, but none is detailed in the changelog.

The list of supported languages is over two-dozen strong, and the minimum requirement remains iOS 6.0, despite the app’s being tailored to look and feel like part of iOS 7. Device compatibility starts at iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, and the fourth-generation iPod touch.

Box comes with 10 GB of free storage (unlike Dropbox or iCloud, which come with 2GB and 5 GB, respectively). More storage can be obtained via a monthly/yearly subscription.
