14 DAY TRIAL // After rejecting an app that acted as a Bluetooth on/off switch, Apple has approved an almost identical piece of software in the App Store called Bluetooth Manager.
Developed by Timo, Bluetooth Manager not only lets you switch Bluetooth on and off with a single click, it also allows you to schedule behavior at different intervals. The software also allows you to toggle Bluetooth on and off with push messages.
Adding insult to injury, the developer even acknowledges an existing problem with the binary that Apple has just approved: “Problem with different time zones. Push notifications will be received as UTC+2.”
It isn’t clear whether Bluetooth Manager uses different APIs than the rejected Bluetooth OnOff, but it seems Apple doesn’t want a quarrel with this developer.
